The Cultural and Literacy Development (CALD) Hub multi-agency model that delivers language, literacy and numeracy skills to refugees and newly arrived migrants - Community Renewal provided funding for establishment costs and evaluation, the DEIR funding contributes to the employment of a TAFE Teacher.
Training for Multicultural Communities Life Skills Project - provides multicultural groups with access to social, economic and community support opportunities via training and other engagement initiatives.

Skilling Queenslanders for Work- Muslim Engagement program including job search, interview techniques, employer networking, Muslim job seeker and employer forums.
Training and Employment for Migrants Pathways and Transitions (TEMPT). Project aimed at parents receiving parenting payments from Centrelink and women over 45 entering the workforce through the provision of employment assistance, training and intensive case management.

ACCESS Employment Pathways - is a multi-regional program that provides individualised employment assistance for unemployed people in the Logan, Beenleigh and Gold Coast regions. The Program has a specific focus on migrants, refugees and humanitarian entrants from a non English speaking background. All services are provided at no cost to eligible participants or employers. Within this funding is $50,000 per annum toward the ASI Driving School, which partly funds clients lessons and testing.
ACCESS Employment Pathways - Targeted Programs 2008 provides a range of options for participants to gain sustainable employment with local employers in demonstrated skill shortage industries. The programs were developed in consultation with peak bodies and significant local employers to ensure individual program content is relevant to industry and the support mechanisms are in place to provide sustainable long term employment for participants.
ACCESS Employment Pathways- Diversity in Aged Care Work Program was initiated as a response to consultations with Aged and Community Care providers on the gold coast. The Diversity in Aged Care Work program is based on the very successful Logan African and multicultural aged care WP’s.
Traineeship Positions part funding for two traineeships positions in the Youth and Employment teams in ASI

This funding is to support the Muslim employment project with a flexible training account to help participants obtain work with items such as childcare and transport costs.
